SACRAMENTO to the BAY!! fIGHT FOR $15!!!

****After the local event there will be buses shuttling people to Oakland to continue the fight!

*On November 10, working people who are building the Fight for $15 movement will stand up together for a day of national actions. There will be rallies in front of city halls all over the country letting corporations like McDonald's know that their workers are worth more than minimum wage.

*On November 10, Americans will be 363 days away from going to the polls to elect a new president and new representatives. The rallies being held on Nov. 10th are launching a push to build $15 voters.

*Too many African-Americans and Latinos are dying at the hands of police. It is time for real changes to make sure all Americans are treated with respect and dignity. That includes the millions of immigrants who do some of the toughest jobs in the country. They strengthen the backbone of America and deserve a chance to move out of the shadows and to become legal residents with a future opportunity for citizenship.

*Our $15 Voter movement will mobilize our coworkers, families, and neighbors to elect people who will help us raise wages, strengthen our freedom to stick together in unions, make it easier to get quality home care and child care, ensure that Black Lives Matter and fight for comprehensive immigration reform.

From Sacramento to the Bay Area, we will be holding rallies and actions throughout the day of Nov. 10th-

-San Francisco: 6am at 2801 Mission Street
-Fresno: 12:30pm (location is still being determined)
-San Jose: 1pm at 2191 Monterrey Road
-Sacramento: 1:30pm at the State Capital

All of these rallies will be leading up to a massive rally at the Oakland City Hall at 4:30pm and then continuing the effort at a Berkeley City Council meeting at 6:30pm at Longfellow Middle School (1500 Derby Street).

There will be a shuttle bus from Sacramento to Oakland!!!

We want to have as many people possible at any of the actions listed above! Please let us know if you will be joining us and how many people you will bring.
